Evil Wizard Cyborg Boss

The final boss has arrived. Evil Wizard Cyborg Boss is Rocky Ridge Brewing Co's Black IPA brewed in collaboration with Evil Mega Corporation — a meeting of WA's biggest brewer and one of the state's smallest, united by a shared love of the weird, the wonderful and the maximally hoppy. Pouring a deep, cola black with an off-white head, this vintage-spec Black IPA offers up huge resinous pine, chunky lemon and grapefruit, fresh cut grass and tobacco on the nose.

Tasting reveals a more balanced bitterness than the aroma suggests — subdued pine, bitter cacao, coffee and citrus — carried on a medium body boosted by specialty malts. Rated 3.92 on Untappd. You won't beat this boss.
